Every Rescue Begins with a Cry for Help—And Someone Who Listens

At Tiny Tales Trust, most of the dogs we rescue come from the streets, construction sites, markets, and other high-risk areas where they face daily threats like injury, abuse, illness, and neglect.

Here’s how dogs typically find their way to us:

Community Reports & Rescue Calls

We receive calls and messages from concerned citizens, feeders, shopkeepers, and animal lovers who spot injured, abandoned, or distressed dogs.
➡️ Our rescue team responds, assesses the situation, and transports the dog to safety.

Direct Street Rescues

Our volunteers and team members also spot dogs in distress during their daily rounds—dogs with open wounds, illnesses, or those hit by vehicles.
➡️ These dogs are brought in for immediate medical care and rehabilitation.

Abandonment & Surrender Cases

We occasionally take in dogs that have been abandoned by their owners or surrendered due to life changes, financial hardship, or relocation.
➡️ These dogs are assessed, rehabilitated, and placed for adoption when ready.

Partner Referrals

Sometimes, we collaborate with feeders, other NGOs, or local clinics that refer dogs in urgent need of shelter or long-term care.
